Adding sizing information to our fashion brands in Instagram and Facebook shops to help customers make informed decisions on their purchases.

CONCEPT & CREATION
Recognising the need for improved product information on Instagram and Facebook shops, I analysed competitors and clothing retailers.
Organising and leading an ideation session with the design team, I gathered a collection of user improvements, resulting in innovative ideas to enhance the user experience and boost customer confidence in purchasing.

IMPLEMENTATION & RELEASE
In the session, users identified key issues when shopping on our platform:

Lack of reminders for options while checking size information.

Absence of sizing reassurance, social proof, or guidance on self-measurement.
Solutions:

Added a measurement guide for finding the best fit - resulting in an increase in conversion due to a higher confidence in purchasing.

Included product pictures in product reminder notifications - resulting in higher traffic through notifications and increased conversion.

Built a narrative that emphasised social proofing and alerting users of low stock in one item they had recently viewed - resulting in higher traffic through notifications and increase in conversion.

Added an 'Add to cart' button within the size guide for seamless purchases - resulting in an increase in conversion and decrease in the number of users dropping out of the purchasing flow.
These user-centric changes enhanced confidence, trust, and overall sales for our sellers on Instagram and Facebook shops.
